Men and women (of the appropriate age) both make great candidates for JUVÉDERM. To decrease discomfort during the injections, JUVÉDERM dermal fillers contain lidocaine (a local anesthetic). Following your treatment, you may go back to your normal routine; however, strenuous activity, such as exercise, should be skipped for at least one day. You need to be careful to avoid touching your face immediately after your JUVÉDERM injections to prevent massaging the filler into other areas.

You will see a noticeable enhancement immediately after your JUVÉDERM injection, but you may also develop some mild swelling or bruising in the first 7 – 10 days.
